Evora Technology

AI-Powered Diagnostics Designed for Faster Answers

Evora Diagnostics is developing advanced diagnostic technologies that combine artificial intelligence, machine learning, and innovative biosensing platforms to deliver rapid, accurate, and accessible testing.

Designed for use across hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies, our platform aims to help patients receive answers sooner and healthcare providers make informed decisions faster.

OVERVIEW

A Platform Built for the Future

While many diagnostic technologies are designed for a single disease, Evora is developing a flexible platform capable of supporting multiple disease categories through a scalable and adaptable architecture.

As healthcare continues to evolve toward personalized medicine, telehealth integration, home-based care, and community-based healthcare delivery, rapid and reliable diagnostics will become increasingly important. Evora is building technologies designed to support that future.

How It Works

From Sample to Results

Evora’s diagnostic platform uses machine learning to interpret multiplexed immune-response signals from patient samples. By analyzing antibody binding patterns across a panel of synthetic peptide biomarkers, the platform generates diagnostic classifications designed to support rapid, single-tier testing for Lyme disease and other conditions.

The Evora Platform

Combining Advanced Biosensing and Artificial Intelligence

The platform uses a paper-based multiplexed vertical flow assay to detect patient antibody responses associated with disease.

A small sample is added to the assay, where antibody binding is captured as a measurable signal. A portable handheld reader then processes the multiplexed signal pattern and applies machine learning algorithms to generate an objective diagnostic result.

By combining innovative biosensing technology with artificial intelligence-driven analysis, Evora is developing a faster and more accessible alternative to traditional diagnostic workflows.

Accuracy

Designed for Reliable Results

In blinded validation studies using multiple samples from Lyme Disease biobanks, Evora’s platform demonstrated greater than 90% sensitivity and approximately 100% specificity.

Additional blinded evaluations using CDC Lyme disease repository samples demonstrated strong agreement with standard two-tier testing while differentiating Lyme disease from look-alike conditions without observed cross-reactivity in those cohorts.

Evora continues to advance clinical validation efforts as part of ongoing development and regulatory planning.

Speed

Results in Under 20 Minutes

Traditional laboratory-based testing can require multiple steps, centralized processing, and lengthy turnaround times.

Evora’s platform is designed to generate results in less than 20 minutes, providing a faster alternative to conventional testing workflows and helping reduce delays between testing and actionable information.

Testing Environments

Testing Where It Matters Most

Because the platform is paper-based, portable, and compatible with handheld readout technology, it is designed for deployment across a wide range of healthcare settings.

Potential Applications:

  • Pharmacies
  • Clinics
  • Hospitals
  • Laboratories

By expanding access to testing beyond centralized laboratories, Evora aims to improve convenience, accessibility, and timely decision-making.
